BEAUTIFUL 1992 CLASSICAL GUITAR BY LUTHIER PAUL JACOBSON CLEVELAND MISSOURI BEAUTIFUL 1992 CLASSICAL GUITAR BY LUTHIER PAUL JACOBSON CLEVELAND MISSOURI We acquired this guitar from the moving estate sale of the original purchaser. In addition to the name and signature of Paul Jacobson the label identifies the guitar as No. 102 and built in 1992. It measures 14 1/2" across the arch and 39 1/2" long. We are not knowledgeable in this field. We did, however, take it to a good friend who is a retired musician and avid guitarist. He looked it over, installed new strings, and tuned it. The strings have been loosened to reduce strain. He said the neck was straight and there was no damage or repairs. He said that the wood has aged beautifully, and he was amazed by the full rich tone; he was extremely impressed with the instrument. The original owner was in a local band, and it was played; other than wiping it down and replacing the strings it is estate fresh and untouched. There are two very thin clear pick guards above and below the sound hole. There is a bit of light finish wear, small scratches, and slight fret wear (he said that it did not affect the play or sound whatsoever). The case is good with minor wear, the handle loop has separated on one end. If you research Paul Jacobson, he is a very accomplished luthier, and his guitars are quite expensive.
